Dr. Nabours is trained and licensed as a primary care doctor. The State of Hawaii has a broad scope of practice for NDs that includes the use of pharmaceuticals, IV therapy, and minor surgery. When necessary, Dr. Nabours will order appropriate diagnostic imaging and/or lab work-ups, prescribe pharmaceutical drugs, or refer to a specialist.
